I have been involved in MLM organizations that promoted excellant products and I have been exposed to those that are a genuine rip off. In either case you can and should expect to work hard and put in significant hours to be successful in any MLM business. You don't get something for nothing, and if your mindset is people will make me prosperous, your doomed to fail, because people who think this way tend to want to use other folks to make it instead of really being an effective networker and knowledgeable sales person.
Also, pay attention to where your money is being spent and determine the return on your investment. In addition, in regards to organizational meetings and leadership meetings, be sure that your not getting taken to the cleaners if the organization arranges group travel for its members. I found I could get rooms cheaper on my own instead of letting the organization arrange travel for the group. Lastly watch the leadership and validate when possible the bonus claims they make. for example, don't be fooled by a large bonus check made out in their name, often times this actually represents an organizational bonus that has to be shared with personnelly sponsored members of the group, thus dilluting the overall value for that particularleader who just showed you that fat check. v/r former Amway Profit sharing Direct Distributor.
