I sold Ameriplan for a short time....all dealings with the company were legitamite. I don't know what the reference to a $2500 credit card is about ....you receive a plastic card that is you discount card that you present to the participating pharmacy, doctor or dentist to receive the discounted pricing. For someone who doesn't have insurance ...this is a great option. The only drawback is that in order for you to receive the discount you must go to a doctor who has agreed to accept the discount card and not all areas of the United States has a lot of providers yet. However the pharmacy and vision part is available to just about anyone since it is accepted by Walmart, Pearl Vision, and many other widely available places. The savings for pharmary drugs alone would be worth the cost of the card. Many people do make a great deal of money with the plan....but the key to success is having the doctors and dentist that participate in your area! Again the card is still beneficial for pharmacy and vision anywhere there is a walmart....which is just about everywhere! I never had any problems with the customer service....they were always very helpful and you recieve a booklet with the participating doctors, dentists, pharmacies, and vision centers when you recieve your card. You can also look-up online the information prior to buying the plan. |
