Review: Hey there. I am an Ameriplan IBO and I have an opinion on what's being said here. I was referred to this site by someone who decided this business was not for them after reading these articles and while I think that it is great to give voice to those who do not agree that one thing or another is as good as is being said, you're article smells of being very one-sided and many of your testimonies, while I understand that they are coming from real people, sound like people who needed to vent. This is unfortunate.
I signed on with Ameriplan not very long ago and I have to say my dealings with them so far have been very pleasant. I am a member of a team who gives me advice all the time and they help me out and I speak to my direct upline (wonderful gal who made this business work for her in only two years) practically everyday. My team members are very accessible to me and have answered all of my questions.
On the benefits discounts, I have to agree that it is not always the best choice for people who really don't anticipate needing a lot of medical care or who live alone. However, if a mother with four kids had to pay for insurance for her whole family and can't afford it, but she also doesn't qualify for help (a huge problem in my hometown), to where is she supposed to turn? She can pay only 20 bucks a month to get her kids glasses, get them to the dentist, and get medicine that they need. That mother saves a lot of money with this kind of help and if Ameriplan wasn't providing it, what would she do? I'll tell you what. She would pay for it all out of pocket and move into lower class or go into debt, both of which we can witness right now as situations that are hurting our country's economy. I would rather introduce this mother to a plan to save her money, than pay for her kids with my own taxes. This is about individual responsibility and for the right people, it's the right thing to do.
I don't know if I can make this company work for me the way my mentor has, but I am still trying everyday and I don't plan on giving up yet just because a few people could not make it work for them. I am doing this for my family and for the chance to make the people around me happier, people I have seen with my own eyes who need something, anything to help them get by.
P.S. I have never heard of said credit card and will look into the existence of such a thing, though it sounds horribly misconstrued as it is.
