I recently just cancelled as being a American Broker. Most everything you said on your review is accurate. They don't however issue you a $2,500 credit card, what you get is a card that gives you 20%-80% off your Dr. visit. Then I hope there is a provider near you. Where I live a person would have to drive 180 miles round trip to get to the dentist.
I did use my card at the pharmacy and I did save about $12 off a $36 prescription. A person could make money if they are willing to sit on the phone about 18 hours a day calling leads that cost YOU money. Plus YOU can INVEST in a turnkey system to help generate leads, that's money out of YOUR pocket also. You can get in on it for $50 and then you have to try and figure out what you are supposed to do next.
When I got signed up I didn't hear from my sponsor at all, I had to call her and ask what do I do. They believe if you are serious they shouldn't have to chase you down. Then when I got up the nerve to call for HELP,she was always busy selling her own prospects just like when she got me. My sponsor sent me some of her leads, which made me feel like she was helping me. Then after talking to at least 500 people and nothing I realized she had already worked them.
I believe it was all in the game. Oh my first sell happened like Bam and of course that hooked me as it made me feel like this person new this was a good thing. I believe she was already worked so when I called she would close and I would be hooked. In 10 months I sold that one broker and one member. So, I was paying them $50 a month and mnaking $18.59 in residual income. Some how that math doesn't add up.
I treid to work their program but it is completely draining to be on the phone all day every day and show nothing for it. Yes there are some people making money, but like I'm saying they are selling other brokers. They don't even give you a decent script for enrolling members. It is a plan where everyone is enrolling brokers who all pay $50 per month and then every one gets a percentage of that all the way up.
One of the NVP's in a training call said she only had 8 members, all the rest of her people were brokers. So basically they are selling brokers. If they don't accept my cancellation letter I sent them I will have my bank stop the payment. IF you want to be on the phone all day every day and you can get enough people in your down line you can make money. I just hope you can sleep with yourself after knowing you are just taking someone's money so that you can get a percent and so on. It is a fancy way of pick pocketing.
Maybe that was my problem I have a conscience and I have to look at myself in the mirrow. I can't live with myself knowing my money is coming from a lie or trying to sell a stay at home mom who just wants to help her husband put some money in the bank. I myself am disabled and live on a very limited income and since I can't get out anymore I jsut knew there had to be something I could do from home. I've been burned so many times I'm not sure if I believe that any of these so called Home business's are for real. I just want to make some honest money and maybe live out the rest of my life with piece of mind. If anyone tries AmeriPlan, better luck than I had.
