I agreed w/ Sandra's comment, but let me add something else. I did 2 other MLM business and even though the team in Ameriplan I was with did walked me through getting started, compared to other companies, THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW TO RECRUIT MEMBERS AT ALL. I came into this business to help people save money on their medical needs, due to the health care crisis this country have, but there was no way I was paying $4.00 per member lead. Furthermore, the team did not know where to get cheaper member leads.
When I enrolled up to 22 member through flyers, every single one of them dropped out within 4 month b/c they all claim they didn't get any discount. In fact, they only save 20%, whoppee. Some of them couldn't find any providers in their area either.
When I did is to do my own research by doing a survey of each providers in my area out west. 80% of the doctors told me that they could give clients a bigger discount than AP. Those 80% included providers who dropped out of Ameriplan.
You mentioned that your NVP only have 8 members. Is she from the fastest growing team where she is a stay at home mom? If so, that's the number 1 reason why I was VERY DISAPPOINTED b/c they are running AP like a pyramid. In other words, most of them recruited only brokers with cheapter leads.
Anyway I quit, and I just found out that BBB revoked Ameriplan due to many complaint about their services. |
