Dan Franklin started in a very small way in his real estate business. Dan started by selling a home study program, Personal Wealth System. He advertised on the radio and television asking people to buy and benefit from his home study program. Additionally, Dan was also selling seminars for providing more information about real estate. Dan Franklin sold his home study program for $250 to $300. However, there is nothing substantial in his program. It is an outdated system with irrelevant tapes and manuals. The manual is in a very poor shape. It is only a stapled set of many copies of copied paper put together into a three-ring binder. The tapes and kit are useless as there is nothing in the system that needed the use of these tapes. Overall, I found it to be a useless system. Dan Franklin also gives a false assurance that you can call him up on the 800 number at any time and seek his help for any doubts about his Personal Wealth System. This again is a disappointment, as he never attends to his calls. He does not even call back later. Dan Franklin is among the not recommended marketers according to the Better Business Bureau too. Few others have a slightly different viewpoint about Dan Franklin. These people had taken part in his seminars. At that time, he seemed very earnest and true at the seminar. However, soon after few seminars, Dan was untraceable. Dan Franklin said that he could easily locate distressed properties and thereby help people interested in going ahead with real estate. Dan insisted on providing no risk contracts with no credit necessary and no down payment too. There is no information in Dan's tapes. On one of the tapes, I just saw him going through the house for more than one hour and picking out every fault. There is no real estate technique on the tape as such. It just seemed to be a waste of time to me. I definitely do not recommend Dan Franklin and his real estate program. I don't have the time, money or desire to deal with the high risk and hassles of real estate so I stick to a different program that's a lot easier.
