StoresOnline
StoresOnline which entices its potential customers with a free lunch and seminar, but is there really such a thing as a free lunch? Once at the free seminar you may be victim to the standard high-pressure sales tactics which involve disclosing your line of credit and discounts which will be gone when you leave the seminar. I've been able to dig up mixed reviews of the actual product itself. There are quite a few testimonials from customers who are very disappointed with their StoresOnline website. Most of the complaints are that their website didn't function like it was supposed to (or didn't function at all) or that it took a very long time before it was setup. One customer wrote that she didn't receive her StoresOnline website for over a year since she ordered it. StoresOnline has had quite a lot of bad publicity over the years. Much of it came after they campaigned through New Zealand in 2002 leaving very many unsatisfied customers and garnering the attention if Watchdog Organizations such as the Consumer's Institute of New Zealand. Here are just a few of the quotes from prominent organizations that I was able to dig up. StoresOnline is, "engaged in unfair competition and unfair business practices, and made untrue and misleading statements Chuck Finney, deputy district attorney. San Mateo County, California "Utah-based StoresOnline is again peddling its overpriced, under supported websites to unsuspecting customers. We repeat our strong warning to have nothing to do with StoresOnline." Consumers Institute of New Zealand We've uncovered that at least nine states and the Federal Trade Commission have launched inquiries and investigations into the business practices of these companies (StoresOnline and Galaxy Mall). Recently StoresOnline has pledged to resolve complaints and address any issues from the past, present and in the future. They have made specific improvements such as expanding their support hours and spending millions to improve their software. My main issue with StoresOnline, which is one of the things that hasn't been improved, is its cost. $4000-$6000 or even more plus other huge recurring costs is, in my opinion, too much to pay for a website. Of course it depends on your needs but you will probably be able to hire a programmer from a website such as E-lance for only a fraction of the cost that StoresOnline charges. Overall I'm happy that StoresOnline has taken steps to improve their customer service and product and I hope they keep all of the promises that they're making. For my money however their product is still too pricey and there are better options available. Recently I've been working with a tried and tested business opportunity that's really made a difference in my financial life. It's probably like nothing you've ever heard of before and it may surprise you to see just how easy it may help you create personal wealth.
