Liberty League International is well known for their promotional video clips featuring private jets and exotic vacations, but is it all a smoke screen or are they really going to help you achieve your dream life-style? Your role in Liberty League will be to sell one of their three motivational products, there's Beyond Freedom ($1,495), the Liberty League 3 day conference ($7,995), and The Summit 5 day conference ($12,995). The startup cost for this business starts rather low with a starter kit of $49.95 but has lots of other costs and incentives which quickly raise the startup cost to what can become and astronomical price. For example, your Liberty League International website will be $39.95 per month, $30/month for an 800#, up to $45/month for a long distance plan, $33/month for access to presentation calls, and then there's always your advertising costs. Here's another tricky part. You need 5 Beyond Freedom Sales under you before you can start making money. If you buy it yourself then you can count your own purchase as one and use two sales from your referrer, then you only need to get 2 of your own sales. If you don't buy Beyond Freedom you need to get all five on your own and you will make nothing on each sale. I have found some information on Liberty League International's past legal problems. In May 2006, the Arizona Attorney General issued Liberty League International an $115,000.00 fine. In addition to civil penalties, attorney's fees, and restitution, the defendants are also required to: ...Refrain from making unsubstantiated income claims. ...Advise potential customers of the correct percentage of participants who have made a profit through their participation in the Liberty League program. ...Refrain from making any false or deceptive statements in their marketing materials. |
This has forced Liberty League International to post their income disclosure which reveals that 80% of associates earn an average of $7,149. Taking into account any amount of advertising costs that the associate incurred (in addition to the other stated costs) it would seem that you may barely get your head above break-even. Overall I cannot recommend Liberty League International unless you're an amazing motivational speaker and salesman.
