Internet Treasure Chest
I bought the Internet Treasure Chest when I was first interested in learning how to make money on the internet. It was after I saw their catchy infomercial on late night TV and was very excited about learning more about making money on the internet. At the time, they offered you a trial period of sixty days for a cost of just $59.95. I was hugely disappointed with the package as a whole. Even though at the time I knew barely anything about making money on the internet, I felt like I knew the majority of the information contained in the Internet Treasure Chest. I later found out that even the information I didn't know could be found for free at the local library or informational web sites. The Internet Treasure Chest folks also try to up-sell you all kinds of packages costing between $795 and $5000 that will "help you make millions". In fact, I felt like the whole initial package was just a scheme to make sure you fail and the sell you more expensive products that would help make you successful. Although I don't return things often, I returned the Internet Treasure Chest immediately and although it wasn't easy (I had to make threats about calling my credit card company) I did get a refund. Other people that I have spoken to were not so lucky. After signing up for additional services from that company they started receiving monthly charges. Even after they cancelled all services, the charges just kept on coming. The company that created the Internet Treasure Chest ended up getting into some trouble with the Federal Trade Commission over the false claims the made on their infomercials and websites. They were blocked from selling their product and all of their assets were frozen. From the Federal Trade Commission Website: In May 2003, the FTC charged that End70 Corporation and its principal, Damien Zamora, used a Web site and infomercials to claim that their Internet Treasure Chest (ITC) business opportunity was very profitable and inexpensive. The FTC has created a hotline for consumers affected by ITC's deceptive advertising scam. Consumers may call 1-866-233-5640 for more information. |
The Internet Treasure Chest takes advantage of unsuspecting people who are not very knowledegable about the different ways to make money on the internet. I wasted a lot of time, just like many of my visitors have, buying programs that don't work and only wasted my time and money. I went through so many of these so called "opportunities" that I finally decided to setup this website to let others know about all the false claims and misleading information they will run into on the internet. Only about 1% of the money-making-systems available on the net will actually make you real money. It took me 6 years, but I finally found out how to make real money using the internet. It's a very unique business idea that's made possible only because of the internet and not too many people have discovered it yet. It's really changed my life and allowed me to live a more relaxed lifestyle that I can share with my family. If you're interested in learning more Check It Out Here and just let me know where to send you the info. I obviously do not recommend the Internet Treasure Chest to anyone. Warmly,
