Employment Scams

The employment scams are schemes designed of some evil-minded imposter job recruiters or employers that usually prey the online job seekers. Employment scams are also often referred to as online job scams.

Employment scams are a form of advance fee frauds whereby certain unscrupulous people pretending to be online job recruiters or employers advertise fake jobs online that require the jobseekers to pay them money in advance, usually under the guise of work visas, travel expenses, and out-of-pocket expenses.

Once the jobseekers send them money, these fake job recruiters or employers just disappear.  The advance fees are, in most cases, demanded through Western Union.

Generally, employment scams are rather temptingly advertised. Their advertisements are, in fact, only meant to lure in unsuspecting job seekers.  These imposter recruiters or companies then offer to provide highly lucrative online jobs thru their enticing advertisements.

These fake employers or companies present themselves thru their official looking, although absolutely fake, websites and that is why very often poor job seekers become their "easy prey."  Once the victims transfer the demanded advanced fees for employment, these fake employers or companies either refuse employment or their websites cease operating.

Sometimes these fake employers offer overseas jobs.  Such employment scams usually propose to offer highly lucrative jobs in Europe, the Middle East, West Africa, or South Africa.  These cases can often turn much more dangerous if the victim is persuaded to visit the foreign nation.

These employment scams are on-the-rise on the Internet.  There are numerous fake employers online, and they can be anywhere.  Jobseekers are just advised to be carefull of these employment scams.  They shoud not go after over-luring online job offers.  They should cautiously confirm whether the job employer or company is genuine or not.
